We at Madras Caffé have been serving delicacies of South Indian Cuisine for generations with spectacular taste and quality. The café was first opened in Mussoorie by the name Madras Cafe where it served the locals and tourists for more than four decades. With time it became tourists’ favorite. They kept coming back every time they would visit Mussoorie. This love and loyalty have motivated our inherent desire to continue serving our customers. This time in Dehradun. The constant trust from our customers, old and new made the Madras Café in Mussoorie a great success. We wish to bring that same experience here again!
In our 47 year-long journeys we have earned a reputation for serving the most authentic taste, real flavor, and quality ingredients. Our hand-beaten coffee has always been our customers’ favorite and the nascent coffee aroma emanating from our filter coffee has been our specialty ever since. Our Mixed Uttapam, Masala Dosa, and Idlis are all-time popular. Not only this, we serve delicious food with one of the best sunset views in the city.

About The Owner
Known for his excellent cooking skills and great service, Mohinder Singh Kalra, popularly known as Tinkey has been carrying the legacy of Madras café for more than three decades. He and his brother Devinder Singh Kalra started managing the café in late 80s. Madras Café Mussoorie was established in 1974 by his father late Mr. Gurbachan Singh Kalra, he laid the foundation of the first South Indian restaurant in the queen of hills, Mussoorie.
As a resident of Mussoorie and working for the café Mr. Mohinder had spent more than 3 decades serving lip-smacking food to the visitors. With the help of the experience gained over the years and for the love of the loyal customers, we have continued our legacy by opening the Madras Caffé in Dehradun. The desire for serving the most authentic flavors to our customers has always been our driving force. We will continue to bring delight to our customers and the most wonderful experience possible!
